Heat flooded his cheeks. He opened his mouth to tell him to forget he asked, but finally he said, "Just because we aren't what the society wanted us to be, that doesn't mean you weren't the best thing ever that happened to me. It's not because you're a boy like me, it's because it was you."
"Yeah..." he said with glistening eyes, "You too."
