A note from the Debanshi :
A world where people aren't daunted by the spectre of ostracisation when expressing their real identities and a society that strives to fathom the intricacies of all human facets instead of fixed mindedly pronouncing judgments. A world where humans explore all their dimensions and are emancipated from the shackles of ignorance and dogmatism. By starting Iridescence I seek to fulfil my onus of service to humanity and by the work that we do we seek to create those pebbles that together will lead to that world which is a but an inchoate vision in my mind at present. Come create such iridescent pebbles with me. My name is Debanshi, welcome to Iridescence!

Passion in my heart, hope in my eyes and magic in my love are the things that I hold dear to me. A undergraduate student of history at Lady Shri Ram College for women, Delhi University, I believe in the individual capacities for striking a change and the massive role that our simple tiny actions can span out in society. I feel all of us are in the process of bettering the best version of ourselves every single day so as to evolve towards a more dynamic and holistic self. On an individual level, I ignite my fire and warmth through my pen and look forward to creating a small little magic each day. I firmly believe in taking small steps individual each day, one at a time and constantly exploring more nuanced facades of ourselves in this journey of creating, emanating and beholding magic. And may be, we can create magic together some day!

Since childhood and even being a straight man right now I was a guy who never found people with varied sexualities to be "weird". I believe half of the world bullies them and the other half makes fun. Unfortunately I was a part of the second category where referring a straight man to be a gay left us crawling at floors. I never met someone from the LGBTQIA + community so I never had an idea what it was like to be with them. I just had an idea about the term when I started watching concerts of Dan Reynolds. But something magical happened one night when I fell in love with a family that wasn't my own but it was actually a series of episodes that featured a gay couple that made by life change. It was a show that portraited life in the best way I've known and it became a turning point thinking how wonderful would it be if people like me come across things like this and go through a change that I did. It was just a show that made me fell in love with the entire community and that's when I knew I wanted to be a part of the LGBTQIA+ organization. This feeling was magical but I didn't know how to be a part and how to work and then someone sprinkled a little more pixie dust she had with her. The desire to turn my dream into reality now had a catalyst which was someone who's so unique from the rest of the world. Things became so simple because she had an entire idea ready since a very young age and then she introduced me to an amazing team and now we stand here as one. Hello! I'm Shagnick and I'm proud to be a part of Iridescence and would try my best to never let you down.

Hey... This is Pratyay Mukherjee, a student from Purulia. Let me get straight to the point. I am literally surrounded by narrow-minded, racist and misogynistic people, and I'm not okay with this. I have plenty of reasons why I joined Iridescence, a LGBTQIA+ organization, and I love to work with this. My first priority with this organization will be to raise awareness and protest against racism. I know there won't be a bright morning when you wake up and see that all the racism is gone, but we can achieve that day by day with progress. That's all.

Hey! I’m Bavleen and I love to do a lot of things but spending time with my family tops the list. I enjoy reading, taking up projects, studying mathematics and chatting with my friends. Now or never by Halsey is currently my favourite song and I’m all about kindness and strength! I am a pretty enthusiastic 16 year old who loves the moon, stars, songs and movies! Hey! I'm Alankriti I'm 18 y/o and I love music, art, guitar, Ukelele. I enjoy reading a lot. I prefer series over movies, because of it's depth and emotions. I love exploring and traveling and good food. I love all kinds of music, but soft and lofi are my current favourites, and the lyrics plays a major role in my music taste. I love animals, especially dogs. I've always wanted to create a change in this world and being part of this organization is a huge part of that step.
